For you, law is more than just a complex set of rules that everyone uses to their advantage. For you, it is an expression of the pursuit of justice. It is no longer just part of a national culture, but an opportunity to take our international relations to a new level where the law of the jungle is no longer the only thing that counts. You are convinced that globalization can bring us closer together, although it is becoming increasingly difficult to regulate global responsibilities.

In this study programme, you will learn about the importance of international institutions and how they can be the cornerstones of just prosperity, long-term peace and sustainable civilization processes. You will be able to contribute to the rules of the world and see how meaningful work can be put into action. The degree program is internationally oriented. As in all our Bachelor’s degree programs, English is the language of instruction and learning one of the six foreign languages is compulsory. As part of a semester abroad, you can deepen your skills at one of our partner universities.

Career options

Conflict analyst

Human Rights Officer

Political advisor

Specialist in international law

Head of degree program

Prof. Dr. Anthony Teitler

International Relations | Human Rights & International Law – Everything at a glance

Application deadline

EU: Sept. 1, non-EU: July 15 or later, depending on the visa process of the home country

Start of studies

End of September

Duration of study

6 semesters

Tuition fee

EU: € 550 / month
Non-EU: € 750 / month

ECTS points

180

Teaching language

English + other language courses

Practice

Company projects, practical semester and semester abroad

Lectures

Mondays to Fridays (and block seminars)

Request information

Apply here!

Study structure: International Relations | Human Rights & International Law

Every module in the International Relations | Human Rights & International Law program at Karlshochschule opens up a new and exciting world for me.
