This one is different. It&#8217;s being co-created directly with Latin American partner universities \u2014 because a genuine understanding of a region has to come from within it. Latin America is too often sidelined in global academic conversations, and this programme is one way of pushing back on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April and May 2026, Karls staff will travel across the region to meet all five partners in person and continue developing the programme together:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Argentina<\/strong> \u2014 Instituto de Estudios de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe (Buenos Aires) and Universidad de Congreso (Mendoza)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Chile<\/strong> \u2014 Universidad Diego Portales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Peru<\/strong> \u2014 Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (Lima)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Costa Rica<\/strong> \u2014 Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (ULACIT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mexico<\/strong> \u2014 Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey, Campus Santa F\u00e9 and Mixcoac (Mexico City)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The trip is co-funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). And the funding doesn&#8217;t stop there \u2014 students who take part in the Certificate Program and want to spend a semester abroad at one of these universities can also apply for financial support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme launches for students across all Bachelor programmes at the Karlsruhe campus.
